Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before booking or using PNWGROOMS mobile pet grooming services. By booking an appointment, using our website, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Our Services
PNWGROOMS provides mobile pet grooming services for dogs and cats at the client’s location, within our service area in the Pacific Northwest. Services and pricing are described on our website and are subject to change without notice. Final pricing may vary based on your pet’s coat condition, size, temperament, and the services requested, as noted at the time of booking.
2. Booking, Cancellations & No-Shows
Appointments can be booked through our website, booking platform, phone, or text. We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without charge. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. We reserve the right to reschedule or decline an appointment for any reason, including weather, safety concerns, or scheduling conflicts.
3. Payment
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept payment through our third-party card payment processor. Prices for add-on services are as listed on our current menu and are subject to change.
4. Client Responsibilities
By booking a service, you agree to:
• Provide accurate information about your pet’s breed, age, temperament, health conditions, and any past grooming issues
• Disclose any aggressive behavior, biting history, or medical conditions that could affect the groom
• Ensure a safe, accessible location for our mobile grooming van/team to park and work
• Be present or reasonably available during the appointment
• Keep your pet current on required vaccinations (including rabies) as applicable in your area
5. Pet Health & Safety
Grooming — especially de-matting, nail trims, and handling of anxious or elderly pets — carries some inherent risk, including minor nicks, cuts, stress, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions. Our groomers take reasonable, industry-standard precautions to keep your pet safe and comfortable. We reserve the right to stop a groom, refer you to a veterinarian, or decline service if we believe continuing would put your pet’s (or our team’s) health or safety at risk. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions that are aggravated by normal handling and grooming, or for a pet’s reaction to grooming that could not reasonably have been prevented.
6. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any pet that poses a safety risk to our groomers, other animals, or itself, including pets with a history of aggression or that show aggressive behavior during an appointment. Fees may still apply for time and travel already incurred.
7. Photos & Social Media
We may take before/after photos or videos of your pet during grooming for our own records and, unless you tell us otherwise, for use on our website and social media for marketing purposes. You may opt out of having your pet’s photos shared publicly at any time by contacting us.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PNWGROOMS’ total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Communications Consent
By providing your phone number and email, you consent to receive appointment-related and, where you’ve opted in, marketing communications from us by text and email, as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, as well as applicable United States federal law.
